Job Summary:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Center For Discovery will oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures with the goal of driving extensive and sustainable growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the COO will report directly to the CEO and Board of Directors and establish policies that promote Center For Discovery’s mission and vision through its operations. The COO must maintain the highest level of integrity and lead by example in all areas.



  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of operational management expertise
  • Prior COO experience within Healthcare a must, Behavioral Health and/or Eating Disorders preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills in building and maintaining professional relationships with executive-level staff, internal department managers, and external business contacts
  • Strong communication skills
  • “Unifier” management characteristics
  • Position requires a “roll up our sleeves” style approach
  • Strong business acumen with P&L proficiencies


  • Support the CEO’s vision of growth by participating in strategy, talent management, and execution of priorities.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a network of over 50 treatment programs.
  • Manage expenses efficiently to produce growing margins.
  • Ensure top line revenue targets are achieved while improving efficiencies.
  • Foster a culture of growth, accountability, and fun.
