Your workplace is in a beautiful home in a nice residential neighborhood, with bedrooms, kitchen, living rooms and more (for a virtual tour please visit our website at CenterForDiscovery.com). Treatment in this home setting allows our clients to feel comfortable in familiar surroundings and provides greater transferability and internalization of the treatment experience for when returning home. Generally, we accommodate no more than six clients at a time to optimize individualized treatment plans and provide a high staff-to-client ratio.
In addition to providing regular nursing services, the Nurse Administrator will provide supervision over other nurses and have administrative duties. He/she consults with the physician and psychiatrist to ensure appropriate medical interventions are achieved, and carries out all orders received, with appropriate information sharing with the Program Director and Facility Manager. The Nurse Administrator meets with each client daily, completes a daily assessment, and administers all prescription medication.
This is a temporary position with potential opportunities to convert into an on-call or full-time position at our surrounding facilities.
