    The Facility

    Your workplace is in a beautiful home in a nice residential neighborhood, with bedrooms, kitchen, living rooms and more (for a virtual tour please visit our website at  Treatment in this home setting allows our clients to feel comfortable in familiar surroundings and provides greater transferability and internalization of the treatment experience for when returning home.  Generally, we accommodate no more than six clients at a time to optimize individualized treatment plans and provide a high staff-to-client ratio.


    The Position

    This is a part-time position requiring several yoga sessions per week. As the Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible to create a curriculum and lead groups through various levels and types of yoga practice. You will work with our clients and be responsible for leading 1 hour yoga sessions focusing on:

    • Mindfulness
    • Meditation
    • Gentle Movement
    • Stretching


    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or nationally-recognized certification in Yoga
    • Must attend all training, education, and staff enrichment activities
    • Must possess a current Driver’s License in good standing   


    • Administrative work for the class and getting equipment together. 
    • Show the correct way to get into poses, the most beneficial breathing patterns.
    • Offer adjustments and training recommendations.
    • Determines whether the new resident has any special needs, communicates those needs to the treatment team and assists the resident in fulfilling those needs.
    • Maintains a clean environment and ensures that the house is tidy and clean at all times.
    • Familiarizes self with the Philosophy, Mission, goals, and objectives of the Center for Discovery Adolescent Treatment Programs.  Complies with all Discovery policies and procedures. Attends all designated meetings.
    • Since email is the primary form of communication within Center for Discovery, it is required to check company provided email on a regular basis.
